Advocacy Project: Graduate students can receive funding to become a “Peace Fellow” working on one of a handful of projects. The Advocacy Project works with numerous local non-profits in different countries.
Kiva Fellowship: 6-month Fellowship working with Kiva, a micro-lending organization. Applicants must be 21 or older. Fellows play a variety of roles during their fellowship. Some positions are in the US and others are in partner communities. Fellows can be reimbursed for some living expenses, but Fellows should expect to cover most of their own costs.
North American Language and Cultural Assistants in Spain: The Spanish government hosts Americans every academic year in local schools. Language and Cultural Assistants receive a modest stipend and some benefits during their assignment, which typically lasts from October to May. There is no fee to apply.
